Sophia mainly helps us take care of our boarding dogs and cats while their owners are away. We are so grateful that she is willing to dedicate her time to love on the animals! She is a wonderful fit to our Mountain Ridge Animal Hospital Family.

Sophia mentions that she has always had a family dog, and over the years growing up with them, she learned to love and appreciate animals. She loves being around them and getting to work with them! She is from Westminster, Colorado. Sophia currently has two dogs: a pity named Jet and a husky named Bender, they are the sweetest things! When she is not with the animals, Sophia loves doing crafts. The most recent craft she has been enjoying is crocheting. 

Tidbits & Trifles:

“Smarty Pants”: She is going to school for biochemical engineering

“Meow”: She has a strong love for cats, even though she has never had one as a pet 

“Ribbit!” : The first pets Sophia ever got were African dwarf frogs. She named them Hades and Persephone.
