Zariah works in our doggy daycare and helps us take care of our boarding dogs and cats while their owners are away. We are so grateful that she is willing to dedicate her time to love on the animals! She is a wonderful fit to our Mountain Ridge Animal Hospital Family.

Zariah explains, “I have always been interested in animal behavior, be it watching Meerkat Mannor on Animal Planet or just watching my childhood dog form friendships at the dog park.” Zariah was born and raised here in Colorado. She only has one pet at the moment, a wonder dog as in “we wonder what he is”! You can find Zariah enjoying a collection of hobbies, some dustier than others: Writing, Illustration, and reading are her major ones but she has dabbled into sculpting, sewing, embroidery, bookbinding and stamp carving as well!

What is your favorite part about your job? :

“What I enjoy most about my job is the small moments where an animal opens up to you, maybe by giving you a sniff or approach for pets. That moment of connection and trust never gets old!”
