Jenny brings the good vibes to Mountain Ridge! She has a warm, approachable energy, and will truly love your pet as if they were her own. All animals are in great hands with Jenny, and we are so lucky to have her on our team!

Jenny remembers first falling in love with dogs at a young age (especially basset hounds)!. They are a favorite of her family. She was also lucky enough to own her very own horse as a teen, and competed in equestrian events often. This is how she learned the importance of complete and attentive care for all animals. Jenny has lived in Colorado since 1990, but as an Air Force brat, her favorite childhood memories are from life in Alaska. She considers North Pole, AK her hometown. Jenny has a female black lab named Captain. (Her youngest son named her as a puppy, after Captain America). The best new addition is the kitten Jenny & her family adopted through MRAH and Dr. Blackstone. His name is Mr. Shelby, named after Carol Shelby. Jenny finds joy in being at home. You can often find her reading (she says she can easily read through 2-3 books a week) and she also enjoys writing as well. She also loves cooking, and spending time with her family. She has 3 sons, all in their teens or 20’s, plus her beloved husband.

A Day in the Life:

“I love helping in any form; whether it is helping the pets, owners, or doctors. My favorite part of the job is being the "go between".  I enjoy helping my doctors take care of the small things, so that they can focus completely on your pet. I like being available to owners if they need something. Making someone's day easier is a happy purpose for me!”
